Record Harvest is the new MagrowTec dealer in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
MagrowTec is excited to announce our new dealer, Record Harvest, with branches in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
Together, MagrowTec and Record Harvest will bring innovation to farmers, improving their spraying operation and making them profitable by being sustainable.
With only 2 components, MagrowTec doesn’t require power or internet, is brand agnostic, and can be easily transferred to a new sprayer.
MagrowTec customers are seeing multiple benefits such as 20% + increased coverage & up to 70% drift reduction, besides additional benefits such as water and chemical savings, extended spray windows, and decreased labour requirements.
We’re exhibiting at Tech Hub Live 2023
We’re exhibiting at Tech Hub Live 2023 this week.
Come by booth 211 and meet our team to learn more about how MagrowTec can make spraying operations more effective by solving the compromise between crop coverage and drift.
We’re thrilled to announce we have started a fourth collaborative project with AMBER Centre, hosted by Trinity College Dublin.
AMBER, the SFI Centre for Advanced Materials and Bioengineering Research hosted by Trinity College Dublin (TCD) is collaborating on a fourth project with MagrowTec (formerly MagGrow), an Irish SME based in Dublin, specializing in magnetic-assisted agricultural spraying.
The fourth collaborative project between AMBER and MagrowTec will build upon previous projects that have yielded important results into the magnetic field effects upon spray performance. The fourth project acts as a platform to gain further insight into the use of nanobubbles, opening up new areas for research and development. This project is being led by Prof. Michael Coey, AMBER and School of Physics, Trinity College Dublin and Dr. Plamen Stamenov, AMBER and School of Physics Trinity College Dublin.
Prof. Coey said of the new research project “We are delighted to enter our fourth project with MagrowTec. Nanobubbles of air dispersed in water have a remarkable ability to alter its properties until they disperse a day or two later, leaving the water just as they found it, with no residue. They have great potential for ‘green agriculture’, for example by using reactive oxygen species as pesticides, which we plan to explore in an exciting new partnership with MagrowTec over the next two years.”
Nanobubbles, often referred to as ultra-fine bubbles, are typically characterized by diameters in the range of ten to a thousand nanometers, this is comparable in size to viruses. Due to their stability nanobubbles have been shown to exhibit properties including area to volume features and that can potentially be exploited to support a widening range of applications potentially including seed germination control, nutrient uptake, oxygen uptake, foliar feeding, pathogen management, and water treatment. All of which align with global food security and environmental challenges, whilst offering significant commercial potential to have an international impact.
“We’re thrilled to embark on our fourth project with Prof. Coey and his team at Trinity. Our collaboration with Trinity College not only reinforces the efforts of our Research and Development teams in Ireland and the UK, but also deepens our scientific understanding of our technology. This strategic partnership enables us to enhance our existing product line, explore new avenues of product development, and ultimately make a greater impact on the global challenges we currently face. We are thrilled to be working alongside Professor Mike Coey and his esteemed team at Trinity, as their expertise and industry leadership will accelerate the optimization and advancement of MagrowTec products. Together, we are addressing critical issues such as water scarcity, minimizing pesticide waste, and mitigating environmental damage caused by spray run-off and drift.” – Gary Wickham, CEO, MagrowTec.

Memorial Day: Honoring the Sacrifices of America’s Heroes
Memorial Day is a cherished holiday in the United States, observed annually on the last Monday of May. It holds a profound significance as a day of remembrance, where the nation comes together to honor and pay tribute to the courageous men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the country’s armed forces. Beyond its association with barbecues and the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day stands as a solemn reminder of the profound debt of gratitude owed to those who have given their lives to protect the nation and preserve its freedoms.
A History Rooted in Remembrance:
The origins of Memorial Day can be traced back to the aftermath of the American Civil War, one of the most significant conflicts in the nation’s history. As the war ended, communities across the country sought ways to commemorate the fallen soldiers. Various observances emerged, where people would visit cemeteries and decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flowers and flags. This act of remembrance, known as Decoration Day, gradually evolved into the Memorial Day we recognise today.
A National Day of Commemoration:
In 1971, Memorial Day was officially declared a federal holiday to be observed on the last Monday in May, providing Americans with a three-day weekend. This change allowed more significant participation in memorial ceremonies, parades, and other commemorative events. It also allowed families and friends to come together and reflect on the sacrifices made by their loved ones and countless others who have given their lives for their country.
Honoring the Fallen:
Memorial Day is a powerful reminder of the selflessness and bravery exhibited by those who wore the uniform. Across the nation, communities organise parades to honor veterans, active-duty military personnel, and fallen heroes. These parades often feature marching bands, military units, and displays of patriotism, fostering a sense of unity and gratitude.
Visiting cemeteries and memorials is another significant aspect of Memorial Day. Families, friends, and strangers gather to pay their respects, placing flags, flowers, or wreaths on the graves of fallen soldiers. This act of remembrance allows individuals to connect on a personal level with the sacrifices made by these brave men and women.
A Moment of Silence:
At 3:00 p.m. local time, a National Moment of Remembrance takes place on Memorial Day. It is a poignant moment when Americans, regardless of their location, pause for a minute of silence to honor the fallen and reflect on their sacrifices. This collective moment of remembrance serves as a unifying gesture, transcending individual differences and reminding us of the profound impact that service and sacrifice have on our nation.
Beyond the Parades and Barbecues:
While Memorial Day has also become associated with recreational activities and gatherings, it is essential to preserve its true essence. Amidst the joyous celebrations, taking time to remember the holiday’s true purpose is crucial. It is a day to express gratitude, educate younger generations about the sacrifices made by the fallen, and support the families left behind.
Memorial Day is a poignant and deeply meaningful occasion that allows Americans to come together as a nation, united in their gratitude for the men and women who have paid the ultimate price for freedom. It is a day to reflect on these heroes’ immeasurable sacrifices and honor their memory. As we gather with loved ones, let us remember the true spirit of Memorial Day and express our heartfelt appreciation for those who have given their lives to protect our country, ensuring that their legacy lives on.
