At the end of June, Victor Fernet and our Crop Science Team were on the ground in Berny-en-Santerre (Somme, 80), France, conducting a sugar-beet spray coverage study as part of our ongoing trial program with the Institut Technique de la Betterave (ITB).
The objective was to evaluate spray quality and coverage with MagrowTec technology directly in the field, under real-world conditions.
Last week, our teams returned to the field with ITB to run the final stage of the program. After the initial weeding-stage tests focused on coverage, we are now assessing fungicide and insecticide applications at a more advanced beet stage.
The new objective is to quantify MagrowTec’s efficiency in denser canopies to help ensure robust protection throughout the crop cycle.
All trials are field-based, run under real conditions, and follow rigorous protocols designed with ITB to validate performance.
This hands-on, data-driven work underpins our commitment to more precise, efficient, and sustainable agriculture.
