MagrowTec is excited to announce that Cleo Harvey has joined the team as Chief Research officer (CRO).
Reporting directly to the CTO, Peter Robertson, Cleo will lead our Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) strategy — advancing the company’s pioneering work in Rare Earth–based Magnetic Assist Technology and Nanotechnology to enhance droplet behaviour, improve crop spraying efficiency, and drive more sustainable food production systems globally.
Cleo brings deep scientific expertise and strategic leadership experience to MagrowTec’s growing R&D organisation. With a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Dublin City University, her research explored the dynamics of very-high-frequency plasma discharges and their applications in advanced surface processing and atomic-layer etching.
Cleo has since built an impressive track record leading multidisciplinary R&D and technology innovation projects across Europe. Most recently, she served as Project Lead at VitalFluid (Netherlands), where she delivered the first plasma-based sustainable alternative to chemical pesticides, guiding the project from concept through to successful field deployment. Her experience at Novaerus and collaborations with industry partners in nanotechnology and plasma-fluid dynamics have further strengthened her ability to translate complex science into commercially viable, real-world solutions.
