We are excited to announce that Dr Sruthy Poulose has joined the Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) Team in the role of Lead Research Scientist.
Reporting to Prof. Anthony Furness, Chief Scientific Officer, Sruthy will play a crucial role in advancing our research initiatives and expanding our technological capabilities. In this position, Sruthy will lead research projects aimed at enhancing our understanding of scientific principles crucial to our corporate development, technology advancements, and intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
Her key responsibilities will include leading research initiatives focused on corporate development, technology advancements, and intellectual property, overseeing experimental design and scientific research methodologies, mentoring and guiding a team of researchers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable products and applications and contributing to scientific publications, patents, and the commercialisation of Magnetic-Assist and Nanobubble/Nanoparticle technologies.
Sruthy is a passionate and accomplished experimentalist with over 5 years of experience in scientific research, backed by strong international collaborations. Her expertise spans a range of interdisciplinary fields, including physics, magnetism, surface chemistry, thin films, microfluidics, and optical fibre sensors.
Throughout her career, Sruthy has worked for renowned universities including the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India (Research Assistant), the University of Basque Country in Spain (Visiting Researcher) and Trinity College Dublin in Ireland (Research Assistant and Research Fellow), where she spent 6 months as part of the AMBER research team hosted in Trinity College Dublin that worked on the MagrowTec research partnership.
Sruthy holds a Ph.D.in Physics from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland – 2018 – 2022) , Master of Science National from the Institute of Technology (India – 2014-2016) and Bachelor of Science from the Mahatma Gandhi University, (India 2011 – 2014).

While Sruthy will be primarily based in Dublin, she will also spend up to 50% of her time at our UK facilities, including the Agri-Tech Centre and MARC, to foster closer collaboration and ensure smooth progress across teams.
